Together with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), the Open Access Scholarly Publishing Association (OASPA) has been developing guidelines for transparency in the scholarly publication process since 2013. OASPA membership is considered a quality indicator for scholarly open access publishers. Berlin Universities Publishing has been a member of OASPA since July 29, 2024.
