The Scientific Advisory Board serves as an interface between the publisher and the scientific community of the Berlin University Alliance. It is composed of twelve voting members (three per institution) and interacts with the Board of Directors. There is one Advisory Board meeting per quarter, convened by the Board of Directors. The committee advises on the scientific and programmatic direction of the publishing house and on quality assurance.

The first meeting was held on May 10, 2022.
