The seventh volume in the series is entitled "Die zirkuläre Stadt: Urbane Obsoleszenzen – Raumpotenziale für die Innenentwicklung" and deals with topics relating to the circular economy and climate-neutral urban development. The contributions are the result of a cooperation between eleven universities and deal with CO₂-neutral solutions in urban development via digitalization, resource efficiency and a will to change. The volume is opened with a greeting from the Federal Minister for Housing, Urban Development and Building, Klara Geywitz. 

The volume is published in Open Access and as a print version and can be ordered via the BerlinUP Webshop. Volumes 1–6 of the series are published by the Universitätsverlag der TU Berlin.
