BerlinUP Journals ensures compliance with technical quality assurance and supports journal editors in implementing further quality assurance measures.
The editors of a journal at BerlinUP Journals are responsible for the content-related, formal and ethical quality assurance of the published articles in accordance with the publisher's specifications. This includes, in particular, the organisation of the peer review process by recognised experts and the decision as to which contributions meet the quality requirements of the journal for which they are responsible for publication.
The entire quality assurance process is regularly evaluated and improved.
